The Printed Proof Switcheroo.

No surprises!

Unlike many large format printers, when you order a printed proof from us, you get a proof printed on the same material as your final graphic. Not a piece of paper printed to simulate the final print.  If you order a vinyl banner proof, your get a proof on vinyl. If you order a trade show graphic proof, you get a proof on trade show graphic material. If your final graphic is laminated, your proof is laminated.
This way you will see your colors as they will be on final piece - No surprises!

How Large Can My Graphics or Banners be?

BT&D can print large format digital graphics (vinyl banners, trade show booth graphics, display graphics and signage) up to 60" wide by whatever length (up to 600'). Any image exceeding the 60" width is printed in sections and seamed together. While our equipment is capable of output up to 60" widths, not all materials are available in this width.  Please call us for complete details at 847-428-5990.
 

How Long Will it Take to Get My Graphic(s)?

Our normal turnaround time is 48 hours in-house from final artwork approval.  We have been known to turn jobs around in as little as four hours.  Large quantities may require a longer turnaround.  Rush jobs can incur additional fees.  If you are concerned about turnaround times for your next project, please contact us.
 

What Quantity of Large Format Digital Prints can You Print?

Our large format digital printing process is geared towards short runs (1-400+) of large, colorful, complex photo realistic graphics. But we have done quantities over 500.
 

What is the Process for Getting My Printed Graphics?

• Send us  your files (see below for how to send files to us)

• We check them to make sure nothing is missing, such as fonts and linked images. 

• We check that all images have enough resolution to print well (see our File Guidelines and Setup Checklist).

• If you would like, we can send you a proof:

• A PDF or JPEG proof. There is no charge for this.

• An 8.5" x 11" proof printed on the same material as your final graphic. There is a nominal $25.00 fee for a printed proof.

Will Your Print Colors Match the Colors on My Desktop Printer or Monitor?

Not necessarily. Differing inks and medias can affect color. Please see our color management page.
 

What kinds of files do you accept?

We accept files from all the programs listed on this page plus .TIF, .EPS, .PDF.  Please review our File Preparation Checklist on how to set up your files for large format printing.
 

How Do I Get My Files to You?

You can send us files via the following methods:

• Upload Your Files here (for files up 300 MB. Simple registration required)

• Send a DVD, CD, Jaz, Zip 100 and Zip 250

• E-mail at orders@btdgraphics.com (3 MB limit)

• Use our ftp site at: ftp://btdgraphics.com
          (BT&D supplied username and password required)
