Vehicle Graphics Make Your Car, Truck or Trailer Your Best Salesman!

Vehicle graphics can be one of your best and most cost effective forms of marketing and building your brand.
Increase the visibility of your business and promote a professional image with:

  • Magnetic Car/Truck Signs
  • Vinyl Graphics
  • Custom Cut Vinyl Decals
  • Full or Partial Vehicle Wraps

We use only 3M and Oracal vinyls for increased durability and longetivity.

Facts about vehicle wraps.

  • Vehicle graphics can last 7+ years and are seen wherever the vehicle is driven or parked
  • With vehicle wraps, you can advertise over a large geographic area and reach a wide range of potential customers
  • Vinyl graphics can be removed up to 7 years after installation
  • Good, quality vehicle wraps are laminated. Some printers skip this step to offer cheaper wraps.  This leaves the graphics susceptible to increased fading from oxidation of the inks and scratching and scuffing of the vinyl.

Not all Magnetic Signs are Equal

  • Magnetic signs for vehicle should be 30 mil thick. 15 mil or 12 mil are fine for small magnets on the back of your car or on your refrigerator, but will not stay on the side of your vehicle at highway speeds.
  • Magnet standard sizes are: 12" x 24", 12" x 18". Custom sizes available.

All work is handled in-house, from print to finishing.

Magnetic Car Sign Care

Proper care will extend the life of your magnets and protect the metallic surface to which it is applied. Applying any material to a painted magnetic surface without following all instructions for the use and care may result in damage to that surface.

Preparation

  • Before affixing magnetic sheet to a metal surface, be sure all surface paints, clear coats and waxes are cured (hardened). (Waxes at least 2 days. New vehicles or freshly painted surfaces 90 days)
  • Clean the vehicle surface and the magnet with mild detergent.
  • Wipe with a soft cloth or allow to dry.

Applying Magnet Signs

  • Magnetic sheet is more pliable and easier to apply when it is near room temperature and the outside weather is pleasant, but not extremely hot or cold.
  • If possible, affix to smooth, flat or gently curved metallic surfaces.
Carefully align one edge of the magnetic sheet to the vehicle surface. Slowly let the remainder of the sheet apply itself to the vehicle surface. Be careful to not allow air pockets under the sheet. If the magnet isn't aligned correctly, start with one edge and completely remove the magnet, then re-apply.
  • Do not pull the magnet across the surface, or it may stretch due to the resistance caused by the high magnetic strength. I may also scratch your paint.
  • Avoid use on horizontal metal surfaces exposed to direct sunlight (such as automobile hoods), temperatures exceeding 160° F (71° C) or temperatures below -15° F (-26° C). Exposure to cold weather will make the magnet more brittle so use caution when handling.
  • Be aware that long-term use on surfaces frequently exposed to sunlight (such as vehicles) can result in uneven fading of the surface because the magnet-covered area is shielded from ultraviolet rays.
  • Magnets do no stick to non metallic body fillers nor do they stick well to simulated wood grain siding or rust.
Avoid adhering magnets to freshly repainted surfaces.

Cleaning

  • Clean both the magnet and metal surface with mild detergent; wipe with a soft cloth or allow to air-dry.
Magnets should be removed and wiped clean daily.
  • After waxing and polishing vehicle, allow 2 days for wax to cure before applying magnets.

Care

  • Magnet signs should be checked daily so that both the magnet and the vehicle surface are free from debris. Dirt material between the magnet and vehicle can damage your vehicle's finish. Make sure to clean both the front and the back of the sheeting with water and mild detergent.
Failure to do so may result in damage to the vehicle finish. Even if the magnetic sheet looks clean, the sheet should still be peeled away from the vehicle surface.
  • It is extremely important that magnetic sheet be peeled away from the vehicle surface on a daily basis. This prevents the magnetic bond between the magnetic sheet and your vehicle from increasing and the sheet from becoming locked tight to the vehicle surface.
  • This daily peel away, along with a good schedule of regular cleaning, will help to lengthen the life of your magnetic sheet, and protect the surface of your vehicle.
  • If the magnet is left on the vehicle during the rain, remove the magnet and wipe the magnet and vehicle dry.
  • Moisture trapped between the magnet and vehicle finish for extended periods can damage the vehicle finish. Allow the magnet and vehicle to dry completely before reapplying.
  • If magnet is left on the vehicle in extreme cold weather and becomes iced on, do not try to remove the magnet until it gets warm enough to remove the magnet without damaging it.

Storing

  • When not in use, keep the magnetic sheet in a clean, dry place.
Stack flat magnet on a level surface.
  • Avoid placing objects (such as cartons) on top that could damage the face.
  • Magnetic sheet should never be placed magnet to magnet.

When a Proof is Not Really a Proof

No Surprises!

Unlike many large format printers, when you order a printed proof from us, you get a proof printed on the same material as your final graphic. Not a piece of paper printed to simulate the final print.

If you order a vinyl banner proof, your get a proof on vinyl. If you order a trade show graphic proof, you get a proof on trade show graphic material. If your final graphic is laminated, your proof is laminated.

This way you will see your colors as they will be on final piece - No surprises!

Our in-house staff has expertise in getting correct output from the following Mac/PC programs:

Adobe Indesign CS4
Adobe Photoshop CS4
